Who is Ray Falling?
Personal info:
Ray Falling is my semi-official artist-alias, my real name is René Mulder.
I was born in the small city of Assen, Drenthe, in The Netherlands on the 25th of April, 1985; making me 22 years of age today.
I am currently studying in Zwolle, at the CIBAP trade school; here I take Multimedia and Graphics Design courses.
After this I plan to either work as a Graphics/Multimedia Designer or pursue my dream of becoming a Videogame Designer or try and publish a novel that I'm working on.
In time, depending on how much longer my studies will take, I wish to migrate to the USA where I will continue my work/studies and marry my girlfriend. Perhaps I will concider working/studying in England first and also look for publishers there.

-Cinema 4D (some experience)
While I'm already very good with Photoshop and other design programs, I still wish to learn more about Flash, Dreamweaver and Cinema 4D.
I usually pick up new programs really fast. If it has my interest I learn it extra fast.
I also draw fairly well, though specialized myself a bit on a small amount of subjects.
About my art:
I don't always find the title 'artist' suitable, but I guess someone who creates art is an artist right?
I have been drawing for as long as I can remember. As a kid I was always creating things, which gave me great joy.
At some point I started drawing comics based on a silly idea, which has grown into an epic novel idea over the course of the past 11 years, which I like to call my life's work.
With the rise of the computer age came new means to do art and so I started drawing characters, sceneries and random things using MS Paint.
A few years ago I finally discovered the excellence of Photoshop and quickly adopted a new style and made it my own. The next step for me would be 3D (three dimensional) art.
At some point I picked up photography and started taking pictures of the sky and the nature around me. Today I use many of these pictures in my digital photomanipulations as you will see on my Digital Art page (under construction)..
Occasionally I wrote poetry and short stories, but my heart belongs to the visual arts and novel writing.
Most of my creative energy is going to digital drawing and photomanipulation at the moment, but I intend to start writing more this summer as well. Photography has taken the back seat a little, but I wish to pick that up as well to expand my collection.
